I saw several Old Spice DE razors for sale on ebay. Anyone know anything about them?

There was a thread on here somewhere about these razors, i cant find it but if you have a search.....
They are not manufactured by Old Spice, or likely even licensed by Procter and Gamble. They are simply cheap production items trying to sell themselves on the basis of a well known name.
I would avoid them at all costs.

I bought one, for sheer curosity, and I have a friend who IS from India. I asked him if the razor was from India. He said:
"Yes. The Wilkinson sword thing is more contemporary. My dad and I used to use that or 7oClock.
That old spice box is OLD! I wants it so bad. Except that i have no use for it. "

I have tried the blades and they are not bad. Thanks for the come back on the razor. I was thinking about picking one up. I guess I'll just get one of those New Feathers instead.

Yeah, I have a SLIGHT thing for Old Spice stuff. I still need my stock certificate framed...:
Could you shave with it? I could not get the top right with a blade in, so I called it a quit.
I have one of these razors and its very aggressive, I still shave with it occasionally

Well, since I had never tried it before, I just put two old blades in it. I noticed one side had a weird blade angle to it, and after trying to flip the baldes, what side the bed was facing, etc... I put the top plate on something I was sure was straight and thick metal so it was "true". One side of the top plate is straight, but the other side isn't. It seems to be like a hair or two thicker in the center, and puts a bow into the blade, which I won't try to solve.
So I guess I'm saying that it's a pretty looking razor, and will look great on display. There is also a chance whatever razor you get will be better than mine. I mean, can you honestly say this isn't a looker?

My holy grail right now is the Old Spice razor stand. And there are more mugs than what is shown there, because they were still being filmed. Sigh. OSAD can be tough.
