Hello
Well its been quite a ride the last month or so.....
Bad news first...
won an auction for a cool Sterling Silver shaving kit.... in transit the EVERY Glass bottle was either cracked or broken !
so I have a lot of Sterling silver tops , a sterling silver brush and what turned out to be a British Aristocrat #21 without box...
all glass shot , the leather smells of mold....
only thing I can keep was the razor...
I just wish it was a #15 , I am an open comb shaver these days...
ok next on the hit list
This is an old purchase when I was much more of a newbe to wet shaving.... I thought I just got pretty clean Aristocrat #66... Did not think much of it... But started to shave with open combs so I put it away....
I was going over some stuff last night and took it out...
I always like the solid base plate models Gillettes much more then the later diamond plate razors... so I was thinking of selling my #66...
I took it out of the box and noticed it was VERY light.... so I took out a stamps.com digital scale and it weights in at just about 37 grams... !! I think I have one of the light weight aluminum #66.... Can anyone comment on this ?
Then I came across a Canada Rocket....
British made with the flat heavy base plate !! weighting in at 72 grams , I think its cross referenced to a Aristocrat Jr.
and last but not least a BRW Bull Mastff in Bronze....
Just not sure which head I am going to use it with, my other BRW has a 2011 R-41 .......
I wanted to share to stuff everyone here "push" me into buying hahahaha...
a big thanks to everyone on the forum...
