Just a heads up, if you guys have never tried Ogallala Bay Rum Soap, it is amazing! My wife loves it too. It is very moisturizing, but leaves you completely clean, squeaky clean, not greasy or any thing. I guess I would describe it as clean rinsing. The scent is so good it makes you want to eat the soap ha ha.

Have some Ogallala Bay Rum and Sweet Orange shave soap, but haven't used their regular soap. I would like to try some. You are correct in that their scents are amazing.
How is their shave soap? I've heard iffy things about that.
EDIT: I just noticed that Ogallala's own website is quite a bit cheaper than WCS. Ranging from 50 cents to a couple bucks cheaper after a quick search.

I read some mixed reviews here as well, but I love it. I find it works best with a boar brush, but the lather is like coolwhip when I am done.

I got the soap sampler and found that the soaps are great--great scents, and the soap makes a thick, lubricating lather. Apparently the negative reviews come from their previous formula which was kicked up a while back. I would recommend this product.

The shave soap works great! It has been reformulated (from what I can tell) a while back. The original didn't lather well. The stuff I got a month or two ago works great!

I haven't shaved today, but just splashed some Ogallala bay rum on for the smell!!!!
I read tons of negative reviews, but on a recommendation from a friend I decided to give their shave soap a whirl. It is, to date, the best shave I have ever gotten. I ordered a shave stick and their shaving soap sampler. The shaving sampler is a great deal for $6 or so. I think the soap is outstanding, and face lathers as well as arko. And the smell is awesome. I just ordered some AS and cologne, too.

+1 Their old formula wasn't so hot, but they fixed that. Maybe the slickest lather I've had that rinsed clean. A little tricky to lather at first, but it was the first milled soap I've ever tried.
My favorite is the lemongrass body soap. I didn't even order it, they just sent it to me as a gift.
Wow. This stuff makes for an easy lather! Maybe it us beginners luck, but using my Velfix pure, it whipped up my best lather yet.

Sounds interesting.
The body soap is amazing. It lathers up thick, then rinses clean. The scent lingers long enough for the deodorant to take over. Then a shave with the bay rum sandalwood, and finish off with the aftershave. You get the complete bay rum experience.
