Toby, Stan... amazing technique on blades!!

I credit the metallurgy on the P74. Adding that tungsten is the key. I get 12-14 two-pass shaves from a modern Personna med prep or lab blue blade in the Fasan.

Too bad they are no longer made.

Hi,

Whoa! You have almost caught my Personna 74 with 30 two-pass shaves on it!

I had used that during One Blade February this year. I ran it in the Fasan, then ran out of Month before I ran out of blade. So, I tacked two extra days onto it to round it off, and wrapped it back up to continue next February.

i used dove shaving cream i got as a gift actually really like it worked fine with a brush
the 1921 oc gillette
prosaso sandlewood preshave
not sure what kind of brush the badger brush i used is its form the 50tys i think was a travling brush has a little metal container for it from a company named Fenwicke stamped new york with shield and arms under it. nice brush and i do not like badger brushes.

I've used my favorite open comb, the ATT H2, for all four days of October. I plan to give turns to my S2, Wolfman open comb, FaTip, Old Type, New long comb, New short comb and R41 (sort of an open comb) before the month is done. I'm enjoying this!
