Nib Acquisitions for May 2013

I got this in the mail on Monday. So, not "officially" a May acquisition.
A never-been-inked Esterbrook 444 "hockey puck" in black. The pen isn't original to the set, as it had been used. I threw a Venus Fine nib on it. Writes very nicely. I haven't decided what ink to put in the well, yet. The other (white) 444 sitting on my desk (seen in the pics below) holds PR Velvet Black. I was thinking about a bright red. The glass of the hockey puck has a band that shows the ink color at the very bottom, and I thought black over red would be pretty. Or, maybe I should put black in black, and red in white?

Picked up a Montblanc Writers Edition Proust pen today, and it was still sealed.

I traded a first born for that pen. Im not sure whose first born I will give to the shop though.

That's the second scarce KM nib you've spoken of recently, they're nice. Any pics coming of the pen?
Oh my, that's just spectacular, congrats Isaac!
I'm visiting family in Tennessee for the next week and moving the rest of our stuff out to Oregon (we're staying here permanently). My dad is acquiring four of my fountain pens, a bulb syringe, blunt needle syringe, a few different types of fp friendly notebooks/notepads, a cigar box converted to a pen case, a leather 3-pen case, and a bunch of ink samples from Goulet Pen Co. He already has a couple fountain pens, but he's only used carts up until now. He's been unsure about what ink to use or how to really clean a pen out properly, so I'm enabling him. This should be fun, as he's not the type to spend out on this sort of stuff on his own, but I know he'll enjoy using it.

A brown Danitrio Cum Laude with a two-tone fine nib has made its way to my work mailbox, but I won't be able to pick it up until Monday.

Stopped by Fountain Pen Hospital back on Monday and picked up an Orange full sized Sailor Professional Gear. Love the smooth 21k nibs.

Yeah I picked the box up on lunch. .. took that before having to go back into work
