Lots of acquisitions last month, again another new record of posts -- not sure if we actually had a new record of acquisitions, but anyway it's a new month.

Let's see the goods.

My NOS 1990s Pelikan M200 (fine nib) from Germany was waiting in my mailbox this morning at work. Pics later when I can take a decent one and upload it.

I combined an early March acquisition with a late March acquisition with an April acquisition. I got the Nemosine first, the Pel 200 last week, and the Pel 120 today. Thanks to Doug, I was able to match a nice medium italic semi-flex nib with the right pen and the new, improved 120 was born. It was a mess when it arrived, being caked up with black ink, but it cleaned up well after numerous cycles in the ultrasound and is now sparkly clean and writing well. One interesting thing about it is that it's marked "Germany" even though the dates of manufacture were 1973 - 1977.

Deano, does your camera have a macro setting? Looks like a nice Touchdown.

The cap has lots of brassing and is engraved with a name. Still looks nice. Considering pens are going for $80+ and nibs are going for $50+ I think I am making out ok.

All but one of my Watermans have finally arrived from the Netherlands... a couple vintage ones from the 80s and 90s.

Now, I'm waiting for an Esterbrook J (#9556), a NOS Pelikan M100 (medium), and a Waterman Allure (fine) with the Dove logo engraved into the cap. I liked the Waterman with the Dove logo because it was unique enough that no one will try to swipe it from me.

(long sigh)....no Pelikan yet, I thought you were going to help me out with that :tongue_sm. I've had a couple of offers from my BST ad, but nothing that I've been ready to jump on. I really want something vintage like a 400nn, but I like the looks of the ringed M215, so one of those may fill the role for now if the 'bay doesn't turn one up for me.

I'll be sure to share my Goulet shipment when it arrives, it should be waiting for me when I get home from a trip this weekend.

I just got my B&B essentials II pens, one is a roller ball for work and the other is the Medium Nib for fun!

On the way home, I stopped off at a vintage mall (it's a weekly walk through, I do admit) and in a case that usually has nothing but a Rolls razor, had this:

Ran some water through it and it writes great!

It will be in my pocket for work tomorrow.
