Newbie Question About Conditioning

Concentrate on technique and natural arm length....take the stropping to the distance your arm feels comfortable with. Go slow and make sure you do things in a controlled manor, speed will come naturally. Try it first with a butter knife etc to get a feel for it....then try your straight.

Nicks usually happen because your timing between the travel direction and flipping is off....or in street terms a "brain fart"....they happen and rarely end the life of a strop.
