Newbie here! Been DE shaving for about three months. Started with a VDH Razor, VDH blades and VDH shave butter. I’ve since gotten better:
Edwin Jagger DE89
Astra Superior Platinum Blades
Proraso soaps and creams
Proraso preshave
Omega Boar Brush
Nivea Post-Shave Balm

How am I doing? What should I change?

Sounds to me like you are doing fine. I would stick with your current routine, unless you feel like you aren't satisfied with it.

Welcome to the forum and thanks checking in with us. I would not change too much too soon. Stick with what you have until you have your technique down pat and then I would start to venture out with some changes.

The DE89 and Astra SP are a good combination. Don't change anything just keep working on your technique.
