New to the wonderful world of coffee

Recently I have tired of my usual morning routine of making a cup of instant crap. Drinking it was a chore and far from enjoyable. I have had the odd French press coffee (known as plunger coffee down under) and always enjoyed it. I went online and after an hour of reading I realised that I needed a burr grinder and a press as well as a good source of fresh beans. Over the last 2 weeks I have found a couple of good roasters from which to buy beans, invested in a press and a Breville grinder. I even aquired a cheap Sunbeam espresso machine.
My coffee experience is becoming far more enjoyable. I have been getting good French press coffee and half decent espresso. I am waiting on an unpressurised basket for my espresso machine, which I am told, will make my espresso even better.
I had never been into B&B's cafe before, but found it an excellent place to begin my coffee education. The thread on how to make French press was invaluable.
I look forward to learning more from the very knowledgable people here. Cheers!
