Hey all.
I mentioned in an earlier post that I was struggling with TOBS Cedarwood. It was my first wet shaving cream and I didn't realize I was struggling until I picked up Proraso Red Sandalwood that I got on sale and had a great shave.
Anyways, I was getting really bad razor burn which is typically unusual for me so I decided to pick up some New Republic Aloe Gel. I applied it after my post shave balm and after I washed up for the night. I was really impressed with how quickly it repaired my skin. I still have some redness, but the bumps are mostly gone. Before, both would last a few days.
I would recommend other new wet shavers like myself get a jar while they are learning their techniques or even people that have sensitive skin. It is easily available on Amazon for under $10.
