New money clip needed

Does anyone else use one anything you'd particularly recommend? I've had a stirling silver one but it seems to have vanished i think maybe the mrs has put it in that safe place that neither of us can find:001_rolle I quite like the mountblanc silver and fibre one but one thing i'm worried about is stretch which my silver one suffered from and had to be re-bent often. What do you guys use? Any pictures would be great I've resorted to using the clip on my leatherman knife at the moment which in the UK isn't the best idea :sneaky2:

I've had a DuckBill money clip for a couple of years now and can't recommend it more highly. If you decide to get one of these great clips, be sure to get youre name engraved on it.....it's a free-hand engraving by a master engraver and really adds a nice personal touch to a great clip!

They look, fantastic. I've been using a money clip for only a couple of years. My current piece is a spring loaded leather covered affair. This looks so much better. I think I will have to pull the trigger on one.

Thanks for the introduction.

Why don't you buy a replacement clip from a UK silversmith? The hallmarks are an utterly classic look.

A quick search on Etsy came up with this.

But I'm sure that there are plenty of other options out there. I have a cheap sterling clip from Birmingham that's great.

Thats pretty similar to what i had it was great apart from the stretch. At the beginning of a night out with a big wad it was fine the next day though it wouldn't hold the £100 i usually carry with me. Hence looking for other recommendations the duckbill one seems excellent however shipping costs are horrendous vie had an email from the company and they're trying to find a way round it.

If price is a concern, you might try one of these. I carry the Storus Smart Clip and I highly recommend it. If European credit cards are the same size as in the USA, this might work out nicely for you.

Id looked at those too but generally leave cards at home on a night out as my will power to not spend when im drunk is none existent :blushing: so just carry cash generally to limit the damage :tongue_sm. Price isn't really an issue i just want one that doesn't stretch too much like my silver one did, i just resent paying $70 to ship a $30 duckbill clip, I've also seen a titanium viper one that looks quite nice too

have a look at a slim clip, there cheap but never bend out, and have the advantage of having a credit card clip, used one for a while but went back to a wallet

I've never used one of these, but they are readily available at drugstores near me (CVS and Walgreens) for $9.99 so you could check one out before you buy it.
