Probably too aggressive for me.
🤣😂

I don't know when it was when they started adding the letter "p" to their Gamechanger plates. I have the original and I don't remember it having a p. Also don't remember either of the Jaws being called that either it was just .68 or .84. I'll probably order the 1.05 since I prefer the larger gaps in every razor I own. Now let's hope they also release a larger Lupo SS plate in that 1.05 gap or even larger 1.20

I ordered my base plate today as well. I own the .68 and .84. I use the Lupo .95 and GC .84 daily and was hoping for a more blade forward razor.
For the price point, it’s a great deal. I am optimistic. I would love to know how much more blade exposure compared to the .84….

glad razorock/italian barber sells base plates by themselves. I wouldn't like having to buy a top cap and base plate every time something new from them drops. So, will this be more aggressive than the lupo .95 sb and oc razors?
According to IB's information the game changer 1.05, will be there most aggressive razor.. I dont think it will be more aggressive than some of the super slants, or lupo open combs..

Thanks for linking their razor scale. (sidenote: Maybe they should start using PNG instead of JPG, it's getting blurry!)

I quite agree with your assessment, I already think the Game Changer .84 JAWS >>> the Lupo .95 OC.
I have both and find the Lupo not too aggressive, the JAWS has a higher chance to injure.

There were already numerous discussions about the ranking, I find it in general despite some misgivings to be a good guideline.

There was already a Game Changer 1.10 shave-a-like...

I got the black one, when the versions had a different color/coating. This was the second run of the Styletto, they also make an aluminum version.

But before deviating too much:
At a certain point, the same for the Yaqi Lupo clone with 1.05 gap, the increase in gap just increases aggression and injury risk, without changing the geometry or potential efficiency much anymore.

The Game Changer .84P is very mild and forgiving to use for me and could use a bit a more efficiency. But I have doubts if the 1.05 is truly that much more efficient. It might just be more unforgiving, which is exactly what happened to the BBS-AS. It is not that much more efficient than the BBS-A, but the -A is foolproof to use, the AS has that extra "aggressive step" (AS therefore, after all) that makes it quite a bit more dangerous when buffing etc..

I am looking forward to hear about this razor from trusted sources.
Which means I will read reviews after the first two-three weeks honeymoon phase. :)

I ordered mine. I used to own the .84 with safety bar, open comb and jaws. I didn't care for the open comb or jaws and found the safety bar a bit less efficient than I prefer. Nevertheless, there have benn occasions when I regretted selling it. So now I'll give the 1.05 safety bar a shot. I really enjoy the Lupo .95OC and the SuperSlant L3, and I'm hoping that the new GameChanger 1.05 provides similar efficiency to those two.
