New following first barber shave

Weclome. All barber's have different ideas about what constitutes a shave. The best barber shave I've ever had was in the middle of the Himalaya, with a 99p hair shaping razor & some mystical ayurvedic ancient Indian green soap (which turned out to be Palmolive). The worst was from a highly recommended barber in my own city.
