New Deluxe head on common bar handle new?

Did they make these?
I'm referring to the New heads that are flat on the bottom, like the new deluxe tuckaway, and the new deluxe big boy. I saw one on what looked like a common bar handle new today. The neck did look different though, I think that the lip where it connects to the barrel was more flat than rounded (if I recall)

Ah, I didn't know that. Is the New Deluxe head more desirable? I've got to admit, I considered picking it up just because I don't see a lot of ND heads.

Many examples of the bar handled New Deluxe there. The New Deluxe is one of the best shaving open comb heads Gillette ever made.

There are fewer of them, and they generally cost quite a bit more. If they weren't asking an arm and a leg, pick it up.

It was reasonable I guess... she agreed to go down to $32 from $40. It had a case in good condition, the razor was in good condition except for some rust on the head - I know that'll come off as it's gold plated, and it's just on the surface. I think the plating was probably intact under the rust. If I'd have been employed, I would have grabbed it. I am pretty sure I'll be offered a job early next week, so I'll go pick it up after I get that offer

Thanks for the link - definitely the same razor I found - with the "flat shoulder"
