Well the Gillette NEW I have is a great razor so much so I got to wondering if there was a modern equivalent. So a quick internet serch relevealed......very little in the way of the traditional open comb head. Plenty of the newer style such as the R41 etc. But I've had a life time of safety bars razors and find the NEW is a about right when it comes to aggressive and open comb, (My Fatip is way too aggressive for me). So after reading the reviews section I went for the Merkur 1904, 41C. I already have the 42C with guard so " I thought what the heck" for the price of £21 all in it cant be that bad.
Does anyone know of another modern traditional open comb razor that is in this price ball park?
