I was asked about the width of the gap for the "handle" under the baseplate of the NEW. I don't know the answer, anyone smarter than me?

8mm and change for the SC, unless it was altered. 8mm or 10mm for the LC...
LC that came with bar handle. 10.37mm
SC that came with bar handle. 8.79mm
LC that came with ball end handle. 8.76mm
IMHO that's how the came, any wider gaps on the SC, I believe were altered. I could be wrong though.
