New and looking to learn all I can lol

Hello all.
I'm here not because I'm new to shaving but I'm looking to learn all I can about it.
Both for my own interest and hopefully to work on designing a razor blade system that is a little different to the norm.
I currently use a leaf and am generally very happy with it but there's a lot I'd like to learn about not cutting my head!
So, I'll potter around, looking at threads, may ask a few questions and hopefully get to know a few of you.
I'm in my 50's so definitely not new to shaving but I have never been very good at it! lol

Angle is more important than pressure, but be aware of pressure.

Quality lather is most of the shave.

Buy samples, no matter how tempting it is to buy a full container or bulk pack of anything.

Start with a Plisson type synthetic.
