Neutrogena Cream as a pre-shave

When I get Psoraisis dry spots on my face, I use products with salicylic acid to clear it up, and I have two from Neutrogena with that included. I also have an after shave from "Labs" something with that salicylic acid content. The one I used just now also has menthol. I washed up normally, rinsed, applied the cream in a thin layer, then lathered atop it with VDH. The result was excellent. I'd been thinking I'd try either Burts Bees Cream or the Every Man Jack Cream, one or the other, before the dry place next to my mouth showed up again.

Interesting, thanks.

I'm now going to go look for Neutrogena stuff with salicylic acid. I have a persistent dry spot on my forehead above my nose, into my left eyebrow, which only came to be there after I had a bandage placed there after an operation. No other standard skin cream has worked so far.

It started on my elbows as a reddish rash-looking itch, jumped into my scalp, and is on my hands now. Mostly, it's a crusty dry scale, but seems to have different styles for each bodily area it shows up on! My mother had trouble with it at my age, and her mother may have as well.

I had Psoraisis in the front of my scalp many years ago, which I found out was made many times worse by using anti-dandruff shampoos. My doctor told me to avoid anti-dandruff shampoos and apply Betnovate gel. This immediately rectified the problem, though it reappeared a couple of times in subsequent years, before finally disappearing altogether.

Your case sounds a lot worse than mine.
Regards,
Renato
