Well have a friend that really wants to get into wetshaving but really tight on money and is not able to afford the stuff right now. I am donating a razor and whatever else I can find. I am wondering if anyone else is interested. If need be I will compensate you later monetarily. I just can not afford to buy everything this month as I am just gettign back into it myself. t If you would like to donate brush, cream, blades or whatever I would apreciate it and I am sure he would also. he would probably kill m if he sees this but I really want to help. he and I have been friends for a long time and right now times are tough. I'm doing the same thing for a friend. Fortunately I scored a black handled super speed from another friends grandfather's camper. The SS cleaned up nicely. The grandson was going to throw it out and I said "NOoooo".
I picked up a cheapy VDH brush at walgreens for under $10.
A hardly used Col. Conks almond puck (I better PIF it before I change my mind) and some Red Pack blades from my $10 order from westcoastshaving.com has me around $15 total to get him hooked...I mean, started.

Thank you. That's what I was thinking. Shaving on a budget can be done locally.
Add to this some Kiss My Face cream. The Fragrance-Free version makes great SuperLather with Williams Soap ... I shaved with it today (using 39C + Feather) and got an incredible shave in 2 quick, easy passes.
Also, fix him up with some good face-wash and ASB ... Nivea and Nivea. ShaveSecret PSO if you want to get fancy. Toss in a bottle of generic Witch Hazel for an after-shave splash.
Except for the KMF cream, The whole shopping trip can be completed at Walmart ... and your friend will have a complete shave-den for about a $25 investment.

Use Van Der Hagen Deluxe soap for $1.50 instead of Williams. It is actually decent soap. It also can be found at Wally World, Walgreens etc. Good luck!
