OK, got this razor as part of a lot at the flea market Friday. Having trouble IDing it as it appears unmarked and was also painted. The only "markings" are three squarish shapes indented into a lip on the base of the handle. Here are some pictures. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It looks similar to this Merkur model, so maybe of German origins?
With the desert tan colour I wouldn't be surprised if it isn WWII issue Wehrmacht issue from the North Afrika campaign.

Thanks, but there is no Merkur logo on the endcap, I even scraped the paint off w/my fingernail to check. I also know Merkur/Dovo love to write their name all over everything, and there is nothing written anywhere. Also, the paint looks like house paint and the razor has drips and globs all over. You can kind of see one next to the bottom hole in the image where I have it disassembled.
