Navy Razor?

I was just wondering, and I apologize if this sounds dumb, if there was ever a razor issued to servicemen in the Navy. I have heard there are sets or razors that were issued/available for servicemen in the Army. I was just wondering if there was such a razor for the Navy. I am a former Navy man, and I would love to have something like this in my collection, if it exists.

I don't believe they were ever issued as standard equipment, but there's the Navy Set, a navy version of the Khaki Set.

I talked to my uncle yesterday and he was talking about the double edge razor he was issued when he joined the Navy. I would love to get one for him, as he expressed interest in wet shaving again. He has been using the same cart for 4-5 months (once a week) because he doesn't like paying those high cart prices! I will get him hooked up even if I have to give him one of my Gillettes.

Sorry for dragging up an old thread. But this shaving kit is really cool!
