Mystery razor

I wanted to know how often you get mysterious or rare razors. Many may even be missing from the catalogs, or there may be a short description without a photo.

I found a Merkur Bakelite many, many years ago in the drawer of my father, thought it is something of a plastics toy, with a really weird cap, flimsy plastic, and tore it apart.

Thanks to Badger and Blade I could identify it decades later.

Sometimes there is no happy end. As I also destroyed a Swiss Tool my father wasn't happy about me either, but mum defended me.

I also broke a toy Rolls Royce and AC Cobra as a child. I still regret it. A Bakelite Merkur is a good razor. Too bad they've been discontinued. He was on sale like 10 years ago, the price is about $ 200
