Myrsol Formula K

I got some Myrsol samples recently, and have found a winner in Formula K. It's fantastic for what it is.

What it isn't: It isn't a classic cologne or barbershop scent that will dazzle the ladies or make you feel manly or special as you catch whiffs of it throughout the day.

What it is: A naturally scented, very refreshing mint aftershave, which fades in a matter of minutes, leaving your skin feeling great while providing a significant, lasting blast of menthol. Great for scent-free environments like many offices or workplaces, or hot weather where you don't want to reek.

The initial pepperminty scent is plenty strong and very natural and pleasing, but it's completely gone in 5 minutes. You are left with a strong, lasting cooling effect and a smooth, soft face. I will be ordering a bottle for this summer.

I can buy it locally at a shaving store in Old Town here. Thanks for the tip. Love your avatar, lol!

I agree this is a great aftershave.

I disagree the scent is completely gone in five minutes The thing with many of Myrsol's aftershaves is that their scent is relatively subtle, compared to many other aftershaves which, well "reek", to use your phrase.

But as a "subtle" scent, I find Myrsol K's peppermint scent lasts for at least half a day, and probably longer.

One way realized, is that I discovered that my baby grandchild smelled like my aftershave, hours after I had shaved ... if she smells like my aftershave long after I have applied it, I am sure I do too..!!

I think we easily become somewhat insensitive to scents we are submerged in -- think of smokers, who just don't realize how they "reek".
I like wearing a fragrance, but, I do like a subtle fragrance, and I think Myrsol have figured it out, hitting a sweet spot.

Great point!

A lot depends on body chemistry and what the body is doing.
A lot depends on how much is put on.
A lot depends on how well the schonz works.

For me, K is faint at best, lets say skin level projection, fairly quickly unless I slather it on.
So, to me that's basically gone. If I could snort my jawline after 2 hours maybe i'd catch a faint wiff, maybe.
Several different noses have given me similar feedback on this actually.
That's good for me, I'd rather not smell like a candy cane all day long.
To me, it's just an aftershave, not a 'fragrance' like an EDC, EDT, EDP. So 'short lived' is best for me there 99% of the time.
