Well, she did it again.... this time on craigslist. I only search craigslist once every few weeks, btw as the most I've found so far are a few trashed straight razors. She finds a listing with the pic below:
Yep, for anyone who's spent some time looking for big fellows, that wooden box is unmistakable.
It's not as nice as the first one, and it's an old type rather than new, but it's still a great find!
For the day that I had to wait to hear back from the guy, my wife was actually more excited than I was... Here I am posting and she's asking me "Are you boiling water yet? Why not?!?" (for those that don't know, boiling water, aluminum foil, and baking soda is a great way to clean up silver plated razors)
