My straight has arrived back from Ambrose

Hi all

Just thought I'd share before and after pics of my great grandfather's straight - a Joseph Rodgers and Sons. My dad and I removed most of the rust, and Ambrose gave it a bit of a polish and honed it. We decided to keep the light pitting in as it is now part of the razor's history. I can't wait to try it, but I have to wait until Christmas. This and a strop (a filly to start with) are a christmas present from my parents.

That's a great razor, most Joseph Rodgers are, and that model is not very common.
Keep her dry and she will give you, and your son many years of reliable service.

Are these last ones the 'after restore' pics? Usually 'restored' razors look different.
