My Semogue makes me feel guilty

Hey guys, just had a shave and used my 830 to whip up some Tabac. This brush is really an incredible brush, I can't believe that they go for a little over 20 bucks shipped. It honestly makes me feel kind of guilty to spend $100 or more on a nice badger. Well, I guess it's just money right?

I bought my 830 before I spent big bucks on expensive badgers, and in some way this has "partially" cured my SBAD. Since then I've only bought brushes either from the BST here or TGN knots and made my own handles.... at the moment I just can't bring myself to buying an expensive badger while this beauty is sitting on the shelf! Great brush + great value

I also whipped up some amazing lather from my Semogue 1250 using Calani. Great brushes, especially the for money. I might have to get an SOC one of these days.

My SOC stands out from every brush I have ever come in contact with!

I'm a huge fan of the SOC line. The SOC boar is excellent, and the SOC 2012 Special Edition mixed boar / badger is absolutely my favorite brush. Anybody who is on the fence about that brush should grab one before they're all gone.

My SOC 2-band is on the way from Vintage Scent right now. Pretty excited to try that one, too.

I too enjoy my 830. A great all around brush. I recently sold my SOC because I face lather and it was just a little to large for my preference. The 830 is just right.

I really enjoy my 1470! I will, someday, get a SOC boar to add to it :) Boar rules for Soaps! Creams, however, I am still a badger guy :)

I started out with a Semogue 1800 but my son is using it now. Now I have the Italian Barber/Semogue LE "Tricolore" and a metal handle 2030B. I must have a cherry SOC! I'm using boars for everything but I use soaps 90% of the time.

I have the painted version of the 1470, the 1460, on the way. Looking forward to this cheap little boar handle and knot!

So nobody wants to post pictures of their 830 post bloom?

This is my 830 after maybe 6-7 shaves, definitely under 10. It came slightly broken in actually and very soft even to start. No funk to speak of either. I love this brush.
