My Re-Plates from Krona Kriuser came back today.

My re-plates came back today. These where in bad shape but Sam (Krona Krusier) did a great job bringing the life back to them.


I had them done in nickel, as that would have been their original plating. The old type single ring had been previously re-plated in chrome by an owner and was a lot of work to bring back to this shape.

I also have a Bake-Lite Handled Tech not pictured that I will post later.

I too have a Krona re-plate. He told me it was no good and that it was showing wear on the head etc, etc. Well when it arrived I was blown away. He must of been talking about something else. The plating was superb, the razor was / is superb and the whole thing is brilliant. I dont dont know how he does it but he's got a good skill there. He one to go for on B&B.

I'm mailing out a Red Tip tomorrow.

The red paint will be removed and it will be re-plated in "shiny nickel".

The photographs really do not do them justice. Most replates that I have had the plater has been over zealous with buffing and apply far too much plating, covering the fine detail of the razor.

These pics are better, but still do not show how good they really look.

i have two gillette superspeeds and a gillette slim adjustable that i would like to have done.

Got my LC New back today...looks as superb as the ones pictured! I'm thoroughly impressed and will definitely use him if I have future plating needs.

And George he's very reasonable shoot him a pm and he can get ya quotes, I don't want to give false info.
