Less than two months into wetshaving, I've amassed:
- Fendrihan silvertip -- big, soft, pillowy, not very dense, great for bowl-lathering creams (I generally bowl-lather).
- Vintage Erskine -- cute little thing, labeled "pure" but really more of a best
- SOC -- Can't lose with MWF or Tabac
- Eagle -- dense, dense soap monster
- Shea Moisture -- cheap, skritchy workaday, my first brush
- Omega Sintex -- soft, in a silly kind of way. Sorta the kippered herring of brushes--very nice when you want something different.
My SBAD is in full force, so I've been considering additions / replacements to my little flock. Things I've considered:
- Replacing the Fendrihan with another soft, bowl-lather-creams brush...maybe the Vie-Long "El Toro Ganso"?
- A travel brush -- I'm just in love with the Major
- Another Simpson's, because the Eagle just got me hooked.
I'm probably not going to be able to afford all those in the near future, so any thoughts on which, if any, of those I should do? Suggestions on other additions? Advice for an overeager newbie?
