That is nice looking bowl. Where did you get it and what kind of a bowl is it?

Do you lather in that bowl on the puck or just load from the bowl?

I have 1 from them as well. If its like mine it has a space in the bottom that's an exact perfect fit for a puck of Haslinger, right?

Wish mine didn't. I never use mine because of that recess. I don't bowl lather and even if I did I'm not sure what I'd do with that recess. It's really well made, though. I use mine as a holder for my cream and AS samples in a cabinet. I've never actually used it to lather or hold a soap I'm actually using or anything.

I'm just started my boring tub of CF Lavender

CF lavender boring?! I've been reading about your soap killing skills in the past few pages. Would be interesting to see how fast you knock off 120 grams of that. My guess, less than 30 shaves.

Had my first outing with Arko today and I'm already missing the Speick. This stuff pales in comparison, though I do love the scent.

My Klar Kabinett is no more. I wish I could say that I ran through the whole double brick lot of it, but alas, due to trades and providing samples, I really had about 2/3rds of a brick. No photo as I had it smnooshed into the same bowl as my D.R. Harris Arlington, so it will look the same. I can repost the same empty bowl photo if you really want

On deck now is a small amount of Rose of Bulgaria cream that I picked up in a PIF. It's a 75ml tube, so I will be happy to get about a week from what's left. I first tried this wonderful cream during a meetup with edgerunner, syngent, mcpell, and I've probably missed one or two. Brianw was supposed to join us as well, but opted to stay ot work for some silly reason.

Filling the time from my LASS samples until RazoRocktober I shaved with CO Bigelow cream this morning.

Love that stuff. Very similar to my first soap (Omega) and have used it a few times here and there. Just effortless lather with protection and slickness, nice scent and good post shave face feel with no extra moisturizing needed this time of year.

Combined with nearby availability, if I was trying to simplify my setup I could see using only this cream into the foreseeable future.

Decided that I will pause Tabac and switch to SCS Pumpkin on the 1st. The soap at the bottom of the dish is so thin that you can see through it. Should break through maybe tomorrow or the day after, then a couple weeks left.

Well, my Speick is no more. I finished it yesterday. I got 20 shaves from it (1 more than last Speicktember). It was a Speicktacular month of great shaves. Nice creamy, slick and protective lather.
For the next few days I will be using my only started puck of soap, MWF, until I begin RazoRocktober. I'm not sure if I will use something I have already or wait until the "RazoRocktober" soap becomes available (which should be any day now).

My jar of MdC is still going quite strongly. I have broken through the bottom of the soap, but due to the shape of the jar, there is still a reasonable amount left clinging to the sides of the glass. I will keep digging away at it but I will be looking forward to a change when this one is over.

How long have you been at it? I'd expect you'll get well over 100 shaves with MdC!

It seems a few folks are finishing their Speicktember with a great classic stick as I begin a stretch with it. When it comes to comparing the very good to great soaps, I think you are splitting hairs. I got the same soap lather sheen that I get with La Toja and very similar performance but with the classic herbal scent. It'll be an enjoyable 3 weeks or so.

Already thinking of the next kill: partial puck of C&E Sandalwood.
