My First Adjustable is on the way (Futur) Any tips?

I shave every day with either an R41 or 37C HD Slant. Sometimes I use them for different passes during the same shave. I decided to pick up a Futur from B/S/T and see how I like an adjustable.

Any tips/advice/guidance given the two razors I typically go with? Thanks Gents!

A great razor.
It has a nice heavy weight to it.
One thing I love about it is the sound of the whiskers being cut.
I use mine on 2 or 2.5 at most with a Feather blade.
I can't seem to find a happy medium with any other blade.

Same here, a Feather at 2.5 is my standard. But I also find a Shark Super Stainless works well. The thing of it is to let the weight of the razor do the work and just enjoy the sound of the shave.

Be careful when adjusting the razor if a blade is loaded. Turtle left some great tips for you that helped me out in the beginning.

Now I place two fingers (index and middle) under the head, squeeze my thumb from the top of the head. and use my other hand to twist the handle.
