I just did my first 2 brush restores a couple of nights ago.
The one on the left is for me. The handle actually belonged to my Grandfather, so it is very special to me! My Grandfather gave it to me recently and it is just awesome to have something that he used. He is an amazing man and probably my biggest role model!
Anyway I put a 22mm Finest Fan Shape Badger knot from the goldennib in it. I used it last night and it was simply amazing!
The one on the right is for my Dad as a Christmas present (hopefully he doesn't get on here and look at it, he is a member here but never posts!). I got the handle from ebay and put a 22mm Silvertip Grade A knot from the goldennib in it.
The finest knot was soo good that I may permanently put my boar brush away. I use soaps only so I have been using my boar for a long time, but this finest badger has shed a new light on things. I think I may have switched to badger full time with this brush because it has soft tips and a lot of backbone!
