I am awaiting my new pipe, and have placed an order for some more tobacco.
What are some must try tobaccos?

So far I have:

Anything in the Frog Morton Series
Dunhill Nightcap / Early Morning Pipe (anything by Dunhill really, but these are the only 2 I've had)
SG Full Virginia Flake
Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake

Can't get Esoterica over here, but a similar baccy from the same manufacturers (St Germain) is sold here. Plan on buying some when funds permit.
Had the Duhill Early Morning Pipe. I hated it, but that is mostly because my pipe was rubbish I PIF'ed it to a friend.

I would also suggest the legendary McClelland VAs; Red Ribbon, Aurora, Blakewood Flake, 5100 (bulk); they are all from the same family, you can pick one or two.

Another must try is 3 Oakes Syrian; not much Syrian Lat left in the market and this one is very well blended.

If you was to try an awesome straight Burley, give Uhle's 00 a try, one of my favorites. Another great one is Reiner's Long Golden Flake

I finally got around to trying 3OS today and I have to agree wholeheartedly. It was friggen amazing.

Nice first order. Try those out and find what kinds of tobacco are in them and work from there.
There's dozens if not hundreds of good pipe tobacco blends. It's a fun journey trying as many as you can.

I am sure he will ship however you need. Get some Meerschaum only, irishman's 5 o'clock, 7 of 9s, cigar blend, and lady Red's rum. That's a good sampling. Call the shop and talk to him if you can. He may have better suggestions from what you like.

What type of tobaccos do you like? Aeros? Go with grandfathers own; Meerschaums only if you like stuff suh as FM; if Virginia's are your fancy 7of 9 is the best.
