What's new

Muhle "Film"

I know, it's pretty great. I hope they have a version with subtitles soon.

I didn't know whether to put this in the brush forum or not, since it shows their razors and shaving in general. I hope it gets some attention in this forum before being buried.

And how cool is it that they have a barbershop-style shaving room in their building?! Haha.

Very nice indeed, thanks for highlighting it. The content is also very nice, it highlights the values of the company, such as tradition, quality and continuity. How its position as an established company owes everything to the daily ritual of shaving and that they are thankful for such traditions. They also talk about the fact that their production is not centred on more and faster but rather on quality. It also gives a historic overview of the creation of the company. As a last point, in the bit where you see two gentlemen shaving in front of a mirror they talk about the fact that they enjoy taking time to do things well, that many men actually enjoy shaving and there is also a wonderful quote from an old barber: "Gut geseift ist halb rasiert" which translates to "Lathering well is half of the shave".

Thanks for the "translation" Erik. Gave some meaning to the video.

Danke Schön! I think the gist of the video is obvious from the context, but having your overview certainly adds the finishing touches. 'If you truly enjoy your job you'll never work a day of your life'.

BTW, I do have the stand in the video, but have not yet purchased the R 41 :biggrin1:

Slightly better production than those Simpson YouTube videos from last week!

Outstanding stuff. My two Muhle razors are flawless. Looking forward to trying a brush some time.

Thanks for the explanation!

I've said it before and I'll say it again...Muhle is my favorite shaving company. Their stuff may be priced a bit higher, but it's unique and they are always looking to develop further. And their quality is top notch. They're a tentpole in the shaving world, IMO.
