Who's up for a month of shaving with the same soap for the month of June?

i imagine there is a lot to learn from using the same soap day in and day out. just as there is from using a lot of product and keeping a strong rotation, i think the same can be said for using the same soap and learning it's intricacy's on a daily basis.

some things id like to experiment with are: more or less water, face lathering, how a soap will react with different brushes, what happens with a soap when it absorbs water on a daily basis.

i don't think ive used a soap (or cream) for more than a single day

so if you'd like to join in post your interest and vote on what soap you'd like to use. if it's not on the list, then we'll tally it with the others

Well of course i forgot to add D.R. Harris, which may have even been my pick!

Harris is a soap i haven't used a puck of and would certainly go out on a limb and pick up a puck for the adventure... so don't forget that any soap is an option.

Also, id like a little input as to whether the soap that is most voted for will be something you're willing to jump in on whether it's the soap you've chosen or not.

im game for all choices however, Trumpers, C&E, Floris, and glycerin based soaps are not on the pole for a reason. Similarly, hard to find soaps (Arron Aromatics, Hans Baier Olivenol, Klar) although excellent performers are also not on the list.

I just finished a 20 day run with the Tabac Stick so I'd be game for a Penhaligon's month but would really like a Trumpers month.....Why no Trumpers?

I voted Penhaligon's just because I am getting a puck tommorow and am looking forward to using it. If I don't like the Penhaligon's, L'Occitane Cade would be my pick.

Trumpers is in!!

to clarify my thought on that, i've not tried the trumper line of soaps, but have read a lot of noise about the post reformulation. however, if it wins im certainly game and will pick up the Coconut oil, or Violets, or Rose even

I'm in for a month of D.R. Harris. I've got a puck of Arlington headed my way and I'll need to break that baby in. I can hold off until June. Until then, I'll prep for June by using my puck of Marlborough daily. Yea, it's really going to be a tough month.

Awesome idea, I'm in! DR Harris is my first choice because I get good shaves with it, but it is very odd soap for me. I have to hit the puck between passes ... I don't have to do this with any other product  This is a great opportunity to really get to know the soap!

As Ty Webb says in Caddyshack, "Just be the ball puck."

Really good looking line up so far!

i can't believe 1. i forgot to put up Arko, and 2. that no one has called me out on it!
