I've only tried AOS per shave oil but so far as a beard/facial prep I can't stand the stuff. As soon as my 45 day hiatus is up I will post that stuff on the BST to trade it away!
What I find works the best for me is using moisturizing lotion as a face prep! It works as good as it feels without it feeling like I'm rubbing 30 weight motor oil on my face!
