modern styled scuttles

afternoon all, I have a moss scuttle that is perfect, except for (only in my opinion) the way it looks, all the scuttles (DB, BM and GTown) are very cottagey/colonial/traditional looking, but I vae a modern bathroom, use modern merkurs, and muhle's, and these traditional scuttles just look a little oddly out of place.

does anyone know of a more modern or contemporary styled scuttle that is available, and if so from where ?

My suggestion would be to try to find a local pottery artisan in your area and discuss design and color ideas with them in order to get exactly what you want. Many of them are open to making one of a kind pieces or modifying pieces they already make. Happy hunting.

While clicking through some of the shave sites some time ago, I saw a scuttle made from pewter or stainless steel. It was quite expensive, but it probably would go with your modern bath.

Sorry for being kind of vague, but it was one of the better shave sites, it just escapes me at the moment. Good luck.

if you talked to those makers, im sure they would (for an extra fee) glaze it in any colour scheme you wanted
