In case you haven't seen it yet, Rocnel is coming out with a modern Gem type razor any day now. It's made from stainless steel. Looks cool. Here is a picture.

If it is mild and efficient like the General and G bar, I would probably get one. Blades are cheap and available locally.
Looks like the spine fits perfectly into that slot in the head and it may just be held tight if the space is not quite as wide as the blade thickness.
Or maybe a threaded post screws up and pins the spine and then the handle screws on the post. Looking forward to seeing more about it.

The post screw tightens and holds the blade in place. Just one turn does it.

Can understand if someone likes that razor but it is not my style. I prefer my Ever-Ready 1912 and my Star Kampfe Bros. 1914.

More seriously, yes, it is really faint and for people like me not blessed with great vision, pretty difficult to read.
O.k...than I will use that colouration. I hate black.
