I don’t think I’ve ever seen Lilac Vegetal in a vintage glass bottle before. I imagine that the scent is somewhat different than the modern version. Any idea how old it is?

I have no idea how old it is. I just found it at an antique shop a couple weeks ago. I tried to do a quick search, but am not finding much. As far a scent vs modern, not much help there either I've never tried the modern stuff. I imagine it has to be different, because it's not at all what I was expecting. I find it to have a nice mild lilac scent with just a hint of powder, no off notes or anything offensive at all. I would say it's a fairly fleeting scent, pretty much gone in an hour or less. I'll have to pick up the modern stuff sometime to compare. I've heard such polarizing reviews I assumed I wouldn't like it.
