Mess Hall Acquisitions

Picked this up while waiting for a couple knives to be sharpened

It is such an evil, evil, truly wonderful store :thumbup1:

And in conversation it came up that they are looking at carrying straight razors :w00t:

Two of my grandmothers cast iron frying pans, I figure they're about 60-80 years old. There were three but one of my younger brothers intercepted it. :thumbdown

Found an old Le Creuset #14 pot for doing sauces at the thrift store for five bucks. Interior is dull, but still nice condition; only a few small chips here and there. The original wooden handle was shot (as usual with these), so I made a new one.

Nice score Pete. :001_smile

Don't know if this will work on your pan or not but the LeCreuset brand liquid cleanser is amazing stuff. Makes the enamel sparkle like it's brand new. I'm not one for buying into brand type things like this but this one is the real deal. Just use rubber gloves with it though, it'll tear up your hands dryer than you ever could imagine happening - EVER!
