Meet The Simpson's

I have purchased a few new brushes in the past couple of months but none have given quite the same satisfaction as the B+B Eagle which only arrived today. Apart from the fact that I'm sure it will be an outstanding brush, it is great to be involved in the Group Buy and the fact that we are helping a children's charity (Operation Smile) at the same time is just icing on the cake.
A quick and dirty pic of the Eagle hanging out in the nest with a few siblings..

I never tried this brush but am curious ,
I know vulfix are now who made simpson brush ,I have a vulfix brush but this simpson looks very beautiful I liked the look mora han the vulfix

I don't have any other Simpson brushes then the Eagle...wait I take that back...my wife's Simpson...... It is probably the finest brush ever put to my face....or my wife's legs. We will have to wait to let the other Simpson heavyweights weigh in..... Hey Isaac you out there ???

my new G3 eagle is my first simpson brush and i find i'm having to relearn much of what i thought i knew to account for its incredible density.

it rips through hard soaps like a chainsaw, but if i'm not careful, i get dry-breach which limits the lather potential. when i do manage to get soap and water and air to mix in the center, i get tons of great lather which it then wants to keep for itself.

on the upside, the handle feels heavy and solid... like it's been carved from old ivory and the sheer density of the bristles makes it feel like your lathering with warm velvet.

it's not the easiest brush to use off the bat, but its charm is unmistakable. i can only hope that as it breaks in a bit more and my skill with using it improves, i'll truly see what this brush is capable of.
