Medaglia D' Oro Instant Espresso?

Anybody use or try this stuff?

I normally brew coffee every morning, but there are mornings that I just run out of time to make a decent cup. Starbuck's VIA is okay, but I'm hoping for better.

Nevermind.

Went to the grocery store last night and found a small jar of this tucked away in an obscure corner of the store.

IMO, no different than any other instant coffee. Tastes the same as Folgers, Nescafe and even Sanka.

Via still wins.

Via is the best instant coffee I've ever tried, but at 75c a packet, its far too expensive for regular use.

I've used the Medalia D'Oro instant espresso. It tastes pretty good, but not like a regular shot. Sometimes I might add it to my other instant coffee to give the cup an extra kick.

Its only $3 or so for a 2-ounce jar. And they still make them in glass jars, not plastic, so after I empty the product, I use the jar and use it as a blade bank.
Another brand of instant espresso you can look for is Ferrara.
