Cigar Enthusiasts:
Anybody ever try Mbombay Cigars from Costa Rica
I had a 'Classic' Perfecto (the wrapper is Ecuadorian Connecticut shade (2011 harvest), binder is Dominican, filler is a blend of Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru, & Dominican Republic tobaccos [according to the press release all of these tobaccos are from 06 and 07]), and I found this cigar to to be mild-bodied at first, then progressing to the half-way point, the smoke turned to light-medium in strength towards the last third and stub.
This cigar was packed with deep, rich flavor (hay, earth, coffee, nuts and spice with a slightly sweet finish), some complexity with smoothness, creaminess, aroma, outstanding draw, copious amounts of luxurious smoke through to the end with no harshness or bitterness at all (take your time: 45 -60mins).
In a few words an awesome cigar, and I believe the perfecto format is designed for this fact.
