I had some difficulty with Martin de Candre when I first began using it. After a few tries, however, I began to get a very nice lather. I have always used the same brush with Martin de Candre: the Simpsons Emperor 3 in 2 Band Super.
I used the same brush today with Martin de Candre and the lather absolutely exploded, bringing this wonderful soap to an entirely new level for me. It was an unbelievably abundant, creamy, protective and stable lather. It was very, very nice. I suppose the brush finally got beyond its break-in period.
I now understand completely Marco's great enthusiasm for this soap.
I intend to use Martin de Candre with a 3 band brush sometime soon. I'm curious to see if I can achieve the same lather explosion with a 3 band brush.
Has anyone found that 2 band supers work better with Martin de Candre?
