Man cave smoker purifer

hey guys,

just wondering if anyone smokes inside their man cave inside the house. If do you guys have any recommendations on air purifiers on getting rid of the smell so it doesn't linger? Since we are on the topic, pics of man caves also welcome.

I smoke my pipe in the house in the winter. No air purifier though, just make sure I smoke blends the mrs likes.

well its more of cigar smoke that im worried about than pipe smoke. cigar smoke seems to linger longer and is more pungent.

Gotcha! Yes, definitely need a purifier for cigars--they linger much longer in a room.

Are you kidding! My rear end is decked out in full snow garb and gloves if I want to smoke in the winter. Some day I will be able to post about a man cave. For now I use the environment as my purifier.

Man, I tried one of those things and the room still smelled like cigars. I reccommend smoking outside because the whole time you are trying to smoke the cigar you will just be worried about it smelling after. Stale smoke smell sucks.

I've tried the window blowing out and sitting nearish the fan, but it doesnt seem to work that well, still get a really noticeable lingering. Also the main reason for the air purifier is to make it easier to smoke in the sweltering summer months where the temperature rises to about a 100 degrees and the only time to smoke would be in the morning or after the sun sets. I guess i can just delegate to those hours, but would love to be able to light up whenever I feel like it on the weekend inside.

With cigars you need a 2 point plan of attack. A couple of fans, one blowing in, one blowing out to get the majority of the smoke out of the room, and then a ozone machine to take care of a lingering smell.

It still may not be 100% odor free but it goes a long way to cutting down on the stale smoke smell.

+1. Yep, Boris, I'm afraid you will have to get technical on this...
