Wow! How you get it that dark?

I upgraded to a 2gal batch. Probalby take closer to 20 days to ferment
 
Lots of smashed blueberries in this batch, I briefly heated them on the stove and then got after it with a handheld potato masher.

I gave the bottle a quick shake and it poured out like this.

Nice. I’m gonna have to make a trip to the store and check over the fruit for the next batch. All I got is frozen cherries and pineapple. TBH, I’m not thrilled with the frozen fruit. I purée it and add about 1/8-1/4 cup in the 16ox bottle. Tastes OK but I wanna try fresh whole fruit

I don’t like how the puréed stuff hangs out at the top of the bottle. I think if the fruit was whole and IN the liquid it would taste better after the 2nd ferment.

Bottled a nice batch of 6 tonight, ginger blueberry.

Set the bottles on a heating mat as the temperature has dropped in my fermentation room. Excellent temperature if I were brewing a nice Stout, a bit cool for my kombucha ferment.
