Makers Mark 46

When making a purchase today, I noticed that Markers Mark has a new product called Makers Mark 46. I read the information posted with the new bottles but I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this new offering. I miss Makers Mark Gold.

I was a little under impressed with the 46, not an overly smooth bourbon and not one that has some bite (in a good way). FWIW my standards a Basil & Old Rip Van Winkle

MM Gold = Millenium? If so that is my all time favorite. I've got one drink left unfortunately.

Haven't seen or heard of the new 46 yet, but occasionally I do drink the regular Makers Mark with the red wax-topped bottle.

My drink of choice is usually Jack Daniels SINGLE BARREL. Once in a while I will take a Makers Mark, Gentleman Jack, Blanton's, or Milford's Reserve just for a change-up. I do really love the J-D SINGLE BARREL and it does stand up to ice better than most.
