Make your own brush out of a paintbrush and PVC pipe?

This was kind of entertaining. Amazing what some people will do to keep from spending $5.99 on a cheap boar brush.

That is one of the funniest things I have seen in a while! I guess if your time is worth nothing and you have the stuff around the house you might be saving a buck or two.......

The brass pipe fitting shown will cost $3 or more. The article suggests buying a new brush, to cut up for this project. Add the cost for waterproof glue. This is not a cheap brush. It just looks like a cheap brush.

And the "peace of pipe" in item 1. Stunning.

Although, while the 'knot" is a P.O.S. does anyone else agree that the industrial look of the brass brush on the left is pretty cool?

Imagine fitting a TGN extra stuffed into that bad boy?! I'd be keen if anyone started making those.
