What the hell is this ?
Alright the negatives
1. It smells like a hippie
2. It gunks up your razor
3. No lather fun
4. The cost to shave ratio indicates the worst value ever !!!
The positives
1. It worked like it should have, protected and provided glide
2. It left my skin feeling amazing only after a cold water rinse, I mean my skin is super smooth and moisturized.
3. No need for aftershave balm because you are basically shaving with the after shave balm.

I got a sample of both the Prince and the Dirty, only shaving cream or soap I have ever thrown out! It's latherless cream which as you pointed out is no fun. It's stupid expensive AND if you read the ingredient list it's no more "natural" than any other purchased cream or soap. Any if the artisan soap makers puts Lush's ingredients lists to shame.

Not for me. Just had the worst shaving experience ever with this cream. The cream was
not slick, had no cushion, provided zero gliding, and kept on thinning out as if it was constantly
being absorbed into skin. I ended up using 1/3 of the tub (money enough to buy 1/2 Proraso tube)
to complete my 2-pass shave just now, and left me with razor burns (first razor burn in nearly a
year).

Somehow I find Lush Prince really has a pleasant scent. I would say it's a great moisturizing
cream, probably a good ASB, but definitely not a qualified shaving cream.
