Lovely lebanese lather

GADA COOL MINT from lebanon...nice looking modern easy squeeze tube ,with english on one side and arabic on the other side...the ingredients are listed in arabic ,and english or french...the english is sometimes covered by a cheezy sticker with french wording for french speaking canadians..the consistency straight out of the tube was a semi soft glistening cream, you could really see the moisture in this stuff...the scent is minty with a little mens "fresh" perfume thrown in..great smell...along with the coconut oil and lanolin, this cream contains a dab of old fashioned vaseline...man ! does it work ! when I was through shaving I needed nothing else at all,it really moisturizes and nourishes the skin, great job...it lathered up quickly, not a big foamy puff, but a nice thick cream..I face lathered with an old gimbels handle stuffed with a golden nib 24mm short thick loft silvertip...the third photo is after I had face lathered...I make several passes,4-6 always, and there was enough lather left to re-shave my whole face...the post shave photo doesn't look that way,but that dense badger hair is saturated very nicely...when I am through shaving I do not want to see tons of cream left over, that means I used too much and am just wasting good cream,,I try to conserve as much as possible...my grandfathers 1963 gillette adjustable was loaded with a czech tiger.I always had good luck with these tigers, and this blade, razor, cream combo was a real delight ..just super smooth...I have a hard time along the jaw line and will hit it from every angle, and at least with 5 passes, not a trace of irritation, that vaseline really really works !...although it was not necessary,I finished up with a shot from the penguin,a perfect compliment to the wonderful gada scent...a fine fine shave

Gada Cool Mint+Alcolado Glacial have been a lot in my rotation this summer, it's very refreshing.
I was surprise also to see vaseline in the list of ingredients the first time i got one of those creams, but it works, it make a superb lather.

I was thinking maybe this shave will be a little "greasy",but not at all, they have successfully emulsified the vaseline into the formula ,a big "well done" to gada...

I am interested in obtaining some of this cream (I am part Lebanese decent).

speaking of part lebanese, there was a beautful actress, dancer, singer who frank sinatra used to fool around with in the 60's,her mother was lebanese and the father south african, her name was julliette prowse....a real knock-out ! and so is GADA ! so if you run across an online source let me know,I love this stuff and when I run out I gotta have more !

Hmm, I thought you were going to point out Salma Hayek is of Lebanese descent.

malocchio, nice review. Man, with all of your sources from Russia, Bulgaria, etc. you must have one huge shave den. If I had half as many shaving goods as you must have, my SWMBO would give me the malocchio! (evil eye) :w00t:

NO...it's a tiny 5' x 7' bathroom, and that includes the shower stall ! it's at it's limit....a great source of pleasure to shave, when you have good stuff to work with .fyi...all the bulgarian goods I have all came from the netherlands !!
