So, the small set of blades that I mail ordered was mostly Derby since I heard good things about them being pretty forgiving, but I also had a few others including a box of Lord 'Super Chrome's.
I noticed the line "Pat Dry, Do Not Wipe" stamped on the wrappers...
So...Pardon my ignorance but why is that important?
I mean, I assumed they were stainless, but I'm guessing that if they should be dried then they must be chrome plated carbon steel?
And as for wiping them dry, has this got to do with dulling them, safety for knuckleheads, or just to keep from rubbing the coating/plating off?
